BVNA was proud to be recognized as the 2024 District 2 Community Heroes at the State of the City address on June 1st. The nomination was through Councilmember Sergio Jimenez's office, and the golden grabber award was presented to some of our members by Mayor Matt Mahan. This award was in recognition of our efforts in recent improvements to Miner Park, our community holiday events, outreach, and our local cleanup activities. We are so proud of our neighborhood and the hard work our members do to contribute to making it a special place. We always welcome new members who wish to contribute to their community!
