We’re looking for a new Miner Park Cleanup Coordinator! Our current coordinator is ready to pass the torch after 5 years, but will help you transition into this role in January 2027. These cleanups are a monthly commitment, but minimal time investment. If you enjoy the neighborhood events with BVNA, these cleanups help us earn grant money from the city to put on the events.
Duties:
-Coordinate with Blossom Valley Neighborhood Association on dates and event updates as needed
-Keep track of supplies and coordinate with your city contact through BeautifySJ to restock supplies and equipment as needed
-Day of cleanup: bring supplies, sign in attendees, pass out cleanup equipment, & direct attendees to areas as needed. Document number of bags collected and report to BeautifySJ on a monthly basis (1.5hr time commitment a month)
-Keep track of volunteer hours and data for BVNA’s grant application
-Once a year, create the cleanup schedule (4th Saturday of each month from January – October)
